Engagements

Xander and Vanessa drove down from San Fransisco for their engagement shoot which was just killer! After the shoot, we realized that it just seemed silly for them to drive all the way back up to SF, only to turn around and come back to Santa Barbara in a few months, so we invited them to come live with us – just until their wedding in October.

So, they are living at our house now – sleeping on the air mattress and doing their part of the household chores and such. It’s awesome.
Update: Everyone got jealous and we don’t want to play favorites, so we hereby extend the invite to all of our engaged couples! You guys can all come and live with us until your wedding, yay!

Haha, I can’t help making up stories – sorry! Got to keep you guys on your toes. Actually after the shoot, the four of us had an awesome dinner at Bouchon (yum!), and Xander and Vanessa gave us a copy of their favorite music mix and it was a rad night to be had by all. Byeee.

As mentioned before, these two are so rad, and so in love… we really are privileged to know them. Becky is our intern and has just been phenomenal in everything she does. She’s a unique blend of A type personality and right brain creative and it’s just unbelievable that we get to work with her.

Eric, as you should be able to tell is just the warmest guy ever. I can’t imagine anyone not liking this guy… I mean, he just wins you over in like 3 seconds. You shake his hand, you look in his eyes, and you know that Becky is with the right guy.

Danny & Crystal were the winners of the auction that benefited the Fredeen family a few months back.  Even though an engagement wasn’t technically included, we had to do one! Such a sweet couple, such good hearts!

This was the perfect way to get to know each other, seriously… I love engagement shoots. We shared a pitcher of beer at Freebirds, swapped hilarious stories about living in IV, and walked everywhere. The light was perfect, Austin & Jenn were rad, and it was good times all around. I am really excited about these guys!
