Santa Barbara

Now, I mentioned that we’re catching up on blog posts right?  Well, this is one from AUGUST!  Yeeeaaaah. But, I guess being too busy to blog is a good thing, right?  :)

The "I can't wait to marry you" look

Allen & Stephany are freaking awesome.

These two definitely glow

A few photos on the beach

I love the color in this shot

Walking near a train track with super soakers

bustin’ out the super soakers was a good idea if we do say so ourselves.

water war on the streets of Santa Barbara

wait, did you notice that those are the legit old school super soakers!?

In love and on the swings

when Stephany saw these swings, she was like “did you set this up?!” – of courrrrse we did :)

the dip was Allen’s idea, and I got to say it was awesome!

Sean & Paige are a pair of incredible people who, not only just got married, but also moved in a few blocks from us! Needless to say, we are stoked to have been hooked up with them via wedding planner extraordinaire: Holly Lomelino. Check out their slideshow:

      Engagement in the Woods
Jason is the kind of guy that can crack everybody up, and Alicia is the kind of girl that tries not to laugh but then let’s out a huge smile. Such lovely people, and such a pleasure to hang out with. Dara & I are super excited about their Santa Barbara wedding!!

In celebration of their tenth year of marriage, the four of us went out to take some photos. Ryan & Natalie came down to Santa Barbara to relax and hang out with some friends. Our photo shoot was a perfect end to their mini vacation.

I was just telling Dara that even though we’ve got SOOO many engagements and weddings to blog about (going back about 6 months), all I want to do is post the random photos we’ve been taking in between.  Yes, all those client photos are done – but narrowing them down for a blog entry is somehow such a mighty task!  We’ve got to start doing that while editing them…

So, in the spirit of posting whatever I feel like (haHA!), here are a few photos I took the other night of my homie Roy on the drums:
