As you may have heard, there is a pretty big fire here in Santa Barbara. It’s a bit scary – especially since a lot of people have lost their homes, but as of now we’re still out of harm’s way.

This may be hard to believe, but this was not a setup! It was nearing the end of the wedding and just as we were taking a couple shots of the bride and groom, this guy Mitch comes out of nowhere and jumps right over the bride and groom.

I guess I should mention that the pictures of the original stunt didn’t come out as well as I wanted – the above shots were taken in the spirit of the classic fauxtojournalistic do-over.

Introducing, my newest favorite image ever! Paul Nicklen is such a committed photographer and his work always stands out, but this is just out of control.

PS: I saw a tagline under this photo somewhere and it read “Don’t mess with this guy” – classic!

This site is cool – upload your photo and it spits out decent looking superimposed image! Thanks to my buddy Erick for showing me!

WPPI was a great conference and couldn’t have been planned in a more crucial time for our business! We learned a lot about ourselves, our style, and most importantly: our clients. We want to take better care of the brides and grooms we work with and we’re reworking a few things to ensure not only great images, but the best experience getting them as well. ROCK ON!
PS: For those of you with Internet Explorer, I’m really sorry this blog sucks for you guys
The Audio player doesn’t show up, and the Navigation is messed up – but we’re working on it!
