Wow, we work with most incredible couples on this planet.  I am tearing up with gratitude…. so, so thankful right now.

After an awesome first meeting with Will & Jen, we asked them (as we always do), “Do you want to go shooting right now?!” and they said YES!  OHHH, how we love to hear that word!

Here are a few shots that we took just before sunset in San Francisco’s financial district.  Afterward, we headed out to the world famous Burger Bar for some great beer and good eats

Did I mention that we only had one lens for this whole shoot?!  Since Austin is a lens-junkie, it was a fun exercise in simplicity and creativity.  Can anyone guess which lens it was that we had?

We knew Chris was getting to ask Nikki to marry him, but we had no idea exactly when he was going to do it! He had the ring in his pocket for at least 3 days as we all spent the weekend up in Yosemite for Andy & Rachel’s wedding.

Dara saw Chris & Nikki sneaking off and quickly told me to run after them and bring the camera just in case! Good thing I listened to her.

Since Andy and Rachel are getting married this coming weekend up in Yosemite (yeehee!), we thought we’d post some shots from their engagement a few months back when they were rolling through town.  We went for a walk across the bridge just up the street from our place downtown and had fun taking some photos.  We talked about their wedding and the excitement of life and finished the walk at one of our favorite Mexican places in Santa Barbara called Super Cucas.  MMMmmm Mazanita!

Long after blogging Dane & Jillie’s awesome Ojai Wedding, we realized that we hadn’t posted these engagement pics yet. Haha, whoops.  If you remember, we did write about a heart felt moment we had while editing them, and a lot of those came up again while putting these together.  D & J, if you’re listening: it was a gift to photograph you guys. You’re so genuine, open, and free. Thank you.

Since these two are getting married next week, we thought – “Hey, why don’t we blog their engagement shoot finally and use some crazy Old English in the blog title?! Yeya!”

After some Northstar Coffee with Daniel and Bry, we headed out to find some new spots downtown Santa Barbara…

Editing these engagement shots today definitely stirred up some excitement in our hearts for these two!

Dara and I will be up in Fresno next week for D&B’s wedding… So stoked!  Love you guys!

First, we established some trust by asking Roni and Britt to stand in the middle of the road “I got your back!”

Then, we bought them two houses to start their life off right!

This ocean view was a special place for these two, and it was the perfect end to the shoot!

24hrs before their wedding back in October, we had a mini engagement shoot with Rigo & Becky. We took these after a beachy rehearsal dinner behind Padaro Grill. Good times!

Here are a few from back in November when we got to meet and hang out with Tim & Nicole. Tim & Nicole are that couple that you always feel comfortable around – the type of friends whose doors are always open and whose smiles are always there to greet you.

The engagement shoot went without a hitch, and getting to know these two was a real treat. I know we say this all the time, but SERIOUSLY, we cannot wait for this wedding!

The shoot: We found a rad little elementary play ground, a great bridge that went over the freeway, and then explored the lagoon behind UCSB around sunset. We had a great drive, listened to great tunes, and had amazing light. It couldn’t have been better.

Now, I mentioned that we’re catching up on blog posts right?  Well, this is one from AUGUST!  Yeeeaaaah. But, I guess being too busy to blog is a good thing, right? 

Allen & Stephany are freaking awesome.
